Our team helps you return to better mobility and long-term results through both treatment and education on how to move more confidently and safely, reducing falls risk. 

Individualised Exercise Programs

Tailored exercise programs help you meet your goals. From pain management to improving balance and strength to helping reduce risk of falls. 

Assistive Technology

We advise you on practical solutions like footwear and basic home setups essential to long-term independence. We can also prescribe you a walking aid to help you get around more safely and confidently.  

Frequently Asked Questions

Following an Aged Care Assessment, you may be eligible through either the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) or Support at Home program to access Indigo's range services (including Physiotherapy).  

In receiving support from Indigo, you must have been assessed as eligible for CHSP or Support At Home services in the areas of Allied Health, Home Modifications or Assistive Technology (Equipment and Products).  

You will have already registered with My Aged Care (MAC) and received a MAC ID number through this process and have an open referral for one of the services mentioned above.  

Once our services are complete, you may need to be reassessed through the My Aged Care system to establish your emerging needs for new services and new referrals through either CHSP or Support at Home funding arrangements.

The physiotherapists in Indigo’s aged care team can work with older people who are experiencing pain, reduced balance/falls or difficulty moving around. Our physiotherapists are experienced with assisting common conditions like: Back Pain, Arthritis, Joint pain/replacements, Falls and Neurological Conditions. 

Ensure that you have any relevant medical information on hand. Dress in something comfortable, allowing for free movement. If you are coming to our Indigo Experience Centre it is recommended to allow time for parking, there is information on parking and transport on our Contact Us page.
